LITCHFIELD JAZZ FESTIVAL JULY 29th – JULY 31st

As we reach the pinnacle of the summer season, it is time once again for the return of The Litchfield Jazz Festival, one of the premier music festivals in the region. which starts this Friday, July 29th thru Sunday, July 31st. The festival takes at the new state-of-the-art (and air-conditioned!) Thomas Perakos Performing Arts Center. The festivities begin with the Opening Gala and close with a Sunday Jazz Brunch, and the lineup in between includes the artistry of Samara Joy; Anton Kot, and the Litchfield Jazz Camp Faculty Quartet with Don Braden, Avery Sharpe, Julian Shore, and Jean Caze; Gregoire Maret Trio; Mark Whitfield Band w/ Davis Whitfield, Mark Lewandowski, and Charles Goold; and Ken Peplowski, Houston Person, Ehud Asherie, Peter Washington and Willie Jones III. A weekend not to be missed!
