Upcycling in the Berkshires

January 18th, 2017

_A170206January is a time of renewal!  As we renew our personal goals and reclaim our homes from the holiday clutter, the winter months are also a wonderful time to refresh our sense of creativity.  The Berkshires are surrounded by the arts, including a plethora of antique shops which add to our rich history and inspire imagination.  Upcycling is the art of bringing new life to old or unusable materials.  Some of our favorite “upcycled” goods come from repurposed antiques.  Feed bags, door knobs, bottle crates, jars, tools, frames – the possibilities are endless – all of these otherwise useless items lend themselves to unique opportunities for upcycled projects; giving your home that whimsical flair with the mixing of old and new.

Hudson Valley
Litchfield Hills and Berkshires host some of the best “antiquing” in the country.
