A Rudimentary Thanksgiving

November 25th, 2019

“It is in a home and with a family that values are acquired, traditions are fostered, and commitments to others are established. There are no adequate substitutes for home and family.”
– James E. Faust

Each year our family rejoices in the tradition of a Thanksgiving Day hike where we visit our favorite Copper Beech tree.  With time, and perhaps without realization, this tree has become a family heirloom – a place of fond memories, laughter, and love.  Our Copper Beech and this annual tradition are reminders of the many reasons which we are grateful; the perfect way to commence the holiday season.

Thanksgiving has evolved since its origin in 1621, when the Pilgrims and Wampanoag Tribe gathered together to feast and celebrate good fortune, yet the rudimentary concept remains the same.  Surround yourselves with loved ones and rejoice in the simple blessings of a beautiful life this Thanksgiving Holiday.

From our Elyse Harney Real Estate Family to yours,
Happy Thanksgiving!
