Farmington River Tubing

July 10th, 2021

Grab your Group and Ride the River. Farmington River Tubing is an alluring sight of tubes piled high alongside Route 44 in New Hartford, CT. There are often equally as many smiling faces eagerly dancing around the buses that trolley “tubers” upstream so they can float the current.  The Farmington River Trail is a beautiful bicycle path that is a great complement to tubing for a full day enjoying the river. With its seasonal headquarters at Satan’s Kingdom State Recreation Area, Farmington River Tubing is a bucolic setting for a thrilling adventure.  The Farmington River is the longest tributary of the Connecticut River and has been a longstanding draw to the area for lovers of outdoor recreation.
