Connecticut Flower & Garden Show

February 20th, 2018

“There are always flowers for those who want to see them.”
-Henri Matisse

This week, Hartford’s Connecticut Convention Center will be converted into a flower lover’s Eden when the 37th Annual Connecticut Flower & Garden Show takes root from Thursday, February 22 through Sunday, February 25.

Visitors can explore over 300 booths exhibiting gardening books and tools, bulbs, seeds, plants, fresh flowers, and more. There are over 80 seminars for both amateur and professional gardeners on topics ranging from Flower Arranging to Honey Bees to Water Gardens. The top Landscape Designers from across the state convene to construct over an acre of award-winning exhibits. Don’t miss the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut, Inc. “Breath of Spring” horticulture & design competition!

With rain forecast for the next several days, The Connecticut Flower & Garden Show is a perfect way to spend a day indoors, getting a “Breath of Spring.” Tickets are available at the door, but be prepared, because it is CASH ONLY, with special pricing for children and Seniors.
